Making an Entrance
Jasmine & Kenneth 18.5.19
Jasmine & Ken had their ceremony at the Annabella Wedding Chapel, envisioning the ‘Fairy tale’ dream Wedding that Jasmine had always wanted. With the girls arriving by horse and carriage from Pegasus Fairy Tale Weddings and the boys arriving in a Dodge charger supplied by Sunshine Classic Cars (Jasmine’s Wedding gift to Ken!) it surely was the best of both worlds.

Jasmine and Ken live in Rockhampton and when a family friend suggested Mooloolaba Beach Events for their Wedding, Jasmine fell in love. Jasmine created an amazing floor plan with the bridal party positioned at the entrance of the room and filled the room with fairy lights from Blush Weddings & Events. Cherry Blossom Trees and their colour theme of gold and burgundy complimented the bridal party perfectly. Jasmine also hired navy table cloths from Mask Events to complete the room décor.
One of Jasmine’s favourite moments of the day “Seeing Kenneth down the aisle, that was pretty special, I was super nervous and was trying to hold back tears, all 3 of my bridesmaids had tears running down their cheeks, another moment was being presented with a handmade Damascus knife from my Papa bear (mums husband) to cut our cake (by Els Cakes with Love) that was another teary moment” – Jasmine.
Jasmine didn’t do a traditional bouquet toss. Instead her bouquet was wrapped in lots of gorgeous ribbon, where all the single ladies got one piece. They all ran circles around her to tangle up the ribbons while jasmine cut. The last uncut ribbon was the girl who received the bouquet.
Jasmine’s advice:
“Some thoughts from the bride who planned everything. MAKE SURE you are happy dealing with all your suppliers, if something doesn’t feel right, CHANGE it. From the first time I met Bianca when she showed myself and my mum the room, I knew we would have a great relationship working together, even when I turned their floorplan upside down and totally changed everything, she worked with it and made sure it would all work out. I remember one day she took the time to actually set out all the tables with me in the layout it would be on the night so we could make sure it worked. Nothing was impossible, she really does just want to make any request a bride or groom makes, become reality.
From start to finish, our wedding was nothing but perfect, and it is all thanks to the people we had involved making it possible. 18 months of planning and hard work certainly paid off on the day.” – Jasmine.
